hello, my grandfather archie campbell (his wife marianne was a teacher there) lived in whadden most of his life. he used to have a mug hanging on the wall in the pub. my son is going to england and wants to go by there especially to see if the mug is still there. I would be interested to see if my father martin campbell hung a mug there as well because they were both regulars back in the day.
Hello, my name is Suzy. My husband (Jeff) and have lived in the village of Whaddon for nearly 14 years. We purchased The Lowndes Arms in June 2011 when it was in a very poor state of repair and business was practically non-existent. We have fully refurbished the property inside and out. We offer great food, real ales, wines, lagers and ciders. En-suite accommodation. Free WIFI. Dogs are welcome in the bar and garden (must be kept on a lead). We offer a warm welcome and good service so please do come and give us a try.
WE HAVE JUST BEEN ADVISED THAT WE ARE FINALISTS IN AYLESBURY VALE VILLAGE PUB OF THE YEAR COMPETITION WHICH MAKES US VERY PROUD.
